Qualifications

• Construction industry accounting experience mandatory — job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience (non-negotiable) including project/job tracking, and class/location tagging.
• ACCA, CA, CMA, or finalist status is required.
• Strong English communication for US-based clients.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets with pivot, lookups, and WIP workbook creation.

Responsibilities

• Construction Job Costing & WIP: maintain monthly WIP schedules, review profitability, ensure costs are properly assigned to jobs.
• Accrual Accounting & Month-End Close: record COGS accruals, post WIP adjustments, perform full close.
• Reporting & Financial Review: produce monthly financial packages and identify anomalies.
• Coordination & Communication: act as main contact for construction clients, obtain missing information, flag issues.
