Job summary

Taraki-search, a client startup with Saudi connections, seeks a hands-on architecture-driven tech lead in Lahore to own system design from day one and mentor a growing team.

You will collaborate with AI models, translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions, and set high engineering standards while communicating with international clients.

Job description

Our client is a growing Saudi-based startup with operations in Wapda Town, Lahore, focused on building high-performing teams in a dynamic software development environment.

We want someone who spends an hour reasoning with Claude or GPT about architecture trade-offs before writing a single line of code, and then ships cleaner, faster, more maintainable systems because of it.

What you will do

• Own the technical architecture of client and internal projects from day one.
• Lead planning sessions with AI models (Claude, GPT, etc.) to design systems and validate approaches before execution.
• Coordinate and mentor a team of developers: review work, unblock them, keep delivery on track.
• Translate business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions.
• Set engineering standards for AI-assisted tooling.
• Communicate directly with international clients on calls, docs, and email.

Good to have

• Next.js in production (SSR, app router, deployment).
• TypeScript, Tailwind, modern React ecosystem.
• Node.js or backend experience for full-stack ownership.
• GitHub or portfolio with Claude Code skills, agents, or AI-assisted projects.

Must-haves

• Strong ReactJS experience in production: components, state, performance.
• Proven architectural thinking. Plans and reasons before coding.
• Claude Code (Max) and Cursor daily. Understands skills, memory, sub-agents, and MCP servers. Bonus for building own skills.
• AI-workflow fluency across prompting approaches, planning loops, and agentic workflows.
• Ownership mindset and multi-developer coordination.
• Excellent English, spoken and written.
