Job summary

Nestlé Sheikhupura Factory is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to implement quality standards for incoming materials and finished products. You will lead quality systems, audits, and compliance across warehouses and vendors to ensure zero defects and consumer trust.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of FMCG quality experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvement using SPC tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or Applied Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality management in FMCG.
• Experience with audits and quality systems in warehouses or production.
• Knowledge of SAP compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop competencies of line staff on food safety, hygiene, GWP, quality and traceability and zero defects.
• Implement Nestlé Quality Management System in warehouses End-to-End with compliance of raw & packaging materials.
• Oversee laboratory operations, equipment, training, analytical competence and rapid-method monitoring; ensure hygiene and pest control.
• Manage internal and external audits and report improvements to management; participate in supplier audits as needed.
• Monitor key quality parameters using SPC to drive root-cause analysis and BRQ for continuous improvement.
• Promote quality awareness in warehouses and at vendor ends; train plant personnel and contractors.
• Ensure product compliance and SAP-based governance across the plant.

Position Summary

Implementation of Respective Quality Standards & develop Quality Systems for incoming Raw & Packaging Materials, Good Warehouse Practices, Compliance of Materials, Audits/ Assessment of Vendors, Issues handling in R&P, Handling of Imported Finished Products and Promos planned in Sheikhupura Factory to ensure zero defects. Conduct relevant quality checks as per defined frequency on lines to ensure consumer trust.

A day in the life of...

• Develop competencies of line staff on food safety, hygiene, Good Warehouse Practices, quality and Traceability, and commitment to zero defect in products. To keep all relevant stake holders on board for communications related to Product and Quality Issues
• Ensure implementation of Nestlé Quality Management System in Warehouses from End to End, by keeping the compliance of all Raw & Packaging Materials
• Ensure correct functioning of the laboratory, including personnel safety, availability of equipment and training of technicians. Ensure adequate analytical competence to perform the required analyses and adequate monitoring of rapid methods Ensure adherence to good hygienic practices in Warehouses. Ensure the correct implementation and supervision of the plant pest management program
• Manage the internal & external auditing program, assessing the performance of the quality system in warehouses and vendors, reporting its effectiveness to the management and proposing actions for improvement. Participate in supplier auditing schemes (when required)
• Ensure the monitoring of key quality parameters by means of statistical process control in order to drive structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement in the quest for zero defect. Lead the factory business review of quality (BRQ)
• Promote quality awareness in warehouses and at vendor ends. Assist in quality training for plant personnel and contractors (this includes quality awareness, hygiene training and training of quality staff)
• Maintain full compliance of products. Ensure Compliance through SAP for all levels of relevant plant

What Will Make You Successful

• Quality related 2+ years of experience is required (Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience is preferred) Personnel Supervision (of technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties)
• Extensive collaboration and communication with corporate team (Brand. CQA, Procurement, consumer services)
• Self-Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them
• Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
