Job summary

TenX Lahore is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure end-to-end quality of our software products. The role combines manual QA with automation to validate requirements, design tests, and verify APIs.

You will work in an Agile environment, review requirements, prepare test plans and data, execute tests, log defects in Jira, and contribute to automation scripting and framework maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year exposure in Automation testing.
• BS Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with Jira and API testing tools.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Analytical, Problem Solving, Decision Making and Good Confidence

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and acceptance criteria and identify test scenarios.
• Prepare test plans, test cases and test data.
• Perform functional, integration, system and end-to-end testing.
• Execute smoke, sanity, regression and exploratory testing.
• Perform API testing and validation.
• Log, track and verify defects using Jira.
• Support UAT, release validation and production verification.
• Exposure to automation scripting and willingness to contribute to automation testing activities.
• Automation Framework Maintenance.
• Automated Regression Suite Development.
• Prepare test reports and quality metrics.
• Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance principles and methodologies.
• API Testing and Validation.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
