Job summary

BrainsLogic in Lahore is seeking a detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to ensure bug-free, high-quality software. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications, working closely with senior engineers and product teams to deliver reliable software.

You will perform functional, regression, UI, and API testing, and collaborate with developers to maintain robust QA processes across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on Automation QA experience with web apps
• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
• Understanding of SDLC & STLC and testing concepts
• API testing experience with Postman or REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain automated and manual test cases and scripts
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects
• Perform functional, regression, UI, and API testing
• Conduct API testing with Postman and REST APIs
• Track bugs using Jira and collaborate with teams
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks and participate in code reviews
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
