Job summary

Mashreq seeks a senior QA leader to augment its Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) within the bank. The role focuses on standardizing QA processes, governance, and dashboards across retail, digital, corporate, and investment domains.

You will drive automation, KPI reporting, and risk mitigation, mentor QA staff, and collaborate with portfolio leads, developers, and product managers to elevate QA maturity and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Over 15 years of experience in banking QA.
Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
Experience in QA and QA leadership roles.
Proficient in working with QA teams.
Advanced skills in automation scripting, tagging conventions, and test case design.
Strong defect lifecycle management and DRE metrics.
Experience with test data provisioning and environment setup.
Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, dashboards/tools like Excel.
Proficiency in validating APIs.
Ability to define and track automation coverage, execution metrics, and leakage trends.

Responsibilities

Develop QA strategy documents and test plans.
Create exit reports, automation strategy, and execution summaries.
Produce weekly status reports and dashboards.
Maintain SOPs for QA processes.
Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly QA audits and reporting.
Lead triage calls, peer reviews, and coach junior testers.
Drive process optimization, standardization, and reuse of QA assets.
Support governance integration with enterprise architecture, risk, and compliance.
