Job summary

Murkez Technologies in Lahore is seeking a meticulous QA Tester to drive functional, application, and regression testing across our insurance solutions. You will ensure defect-free production deployments and collaborate with BAs and vendors to translate requirements into robust test cases and end-to-end test plans.

You will build automation regression test suites, monitor defects, and communicate clearly with team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent releases.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and defect documentation.
• Ability to work independently while keeping teammates informed.
• Initiative and problem‑solving mindset.
• Advanced MS Office applications: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, application, and regression tests.
• Ensure software deployed to Production is defect-free.
• Review functional and non-functional requirements and build test cases for end-to-end functionality and target testing.
• Build regression test cases for Automation.
• Identify issues, risks and dependencies escalating when appropriate.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and software vendor to understand requirements and develop test cases.
• Create end-to-end test plans and scripts to test for functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems.
