Job summary

A major mining company is seeking a Purchaser for the Reko Diq Mine Site in Balochistan. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or business management, with 3 to 4 years of experience in procurement. Responsibilities include processing RFQs, vendor evaluations, and market research. Proficiency in SAP and Ariba is preferred, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of procurement, negotiation, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown

Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing RFQs against all PRs (Materials & Services) in a timely manner, adhering to Procurement procedures and policies.
• Evaluate PRs for complete specifications and information, collaborating with the user department in case of incomplete details.
• Prepare comparative analyses against technically qualified vendors and share them with the Procurement Lead
• Conduct market research and evaluate new vendors, especially in the local market (Balochistan)
• Register new vendors in Ariba.
• Create purchase orders (POs) in SAP
• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
• Compile PR and PO delivery status reports and share them with management.
• Actively coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors
