Job summary

Relief International in Pakistan seeks a Provincial Emergency and Distribution Officer to coordinate emergency preparedness, routine distributions, and MHPSS-linked activities. The role translates needs into practical response plans, ensures safe, equitable household assistance, and maintains accountable records in alignment with donor and RI standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Disaster Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Logistics/Supply Chain, Public Health or related field.
At least four years of humanitarian emergency experience with field coordination.
Experience in distribution planning, stock and dispatch documentation and basic budget tracking.
Ability to coordinate with government and humanitarian coordination structures.
Demonstrated safeguarding, confidentiality and feedback mechanisms knowledge.

Responsibilities

Coordinate RI emergency preparedness planning and response in the province.
Translate assessments into practical distribution plans and manage stock records.
Coordinate with government, partners and communities to identify needs and ensure safe access.
Maintain auditable beneficiary, dispatch and distribution records; report losses or diversion promptly.
Uphold RI codes and values while ensuring staff and community safeguarding.
