Overview

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to manage the Pakistani development office of a wireless application development company.

The PM will be responsible for establishing and leading the local development office in Islamabad, hiring and managing a technical team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and leveraging government incentives for foreign software companies.

Responsibilities

• Establishing a local development office in Islamabad for the parent company.
• Hiring and managing a team of technical staff, including roles such as 1 Development Manager, 5-10 Developers, 1-2 Technical Writers, 2-5 Testers, 2 Sys Admins, and 1 DBA.
• Looking after the day-to-day operation and administration of the development office.
• Keeping informed about and taking advantage of incentives and programs offered by the government to foreign software companies.
• Reporting to a Project Director based in Toronto, Canada.
