A leading company in Karachi seeks a Project Manager to oversee project and operations management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement in operations. This role involves monitoring projects, managing teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Responsible for leading Projects and Operations Management, and driving continuous improvement in the Operations. This position will support Sybrid’s BU MS continuous health.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Operations Management
Lead the planning and implementation of project
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop full scale project plans
Manage project budget
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Quality Assurance
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Project evaluations and assessment of results
Vendor Management
2. Leading Project Management Activities
Implement pre-emptive maintenance plans
Implementation of operational plans
Issue escalation and resolution
Team management
Conflict resolution among team members and peers
Develops strategies to cut on down time and respond time to customers.
Monitors and manages equipment usage (Inventory Management)
Carries out performance appraisal for all direct reports and recommend Salary adjustments if necessary.
Implements new concepts and management tools from time to time to
Build a common company culture in line with the organization vision.
Implements and ensures safety is abided at the work place
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. At least 3 years of full-time work experience in project management and operations management
2. Absolutely trustworthy with high standards of personal integrity (demonstrated by an unblemished career history) and willing to undergo vetting and / or personal assessments to verify if this is necessary.
3. Hands-on team leadership and management experience.
4. Typically a background in technical Engineering/ operations management roles such as team management, with a clear and abiding interest in company.
