Job description

To provide overall leadership, coordination, and management of the Sindh Gender Parity Report project. The Project Lead Coordinator will ensure effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and timely delivery of project outputs, serving as the primary focal point between the technical team, government stakeholders, and development partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management and coordination of the Sindh Gender Parity Report project.
  • Develop, monitor, and update project work plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate between the Gender & Data Specialist, project teams, and partner organizations to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Technically lead the activities of core team members (gender parity report) –
  • supporting development of deadlines, providing feedback to draft thematic chapters and ensuring quality of final deliverables.
  • Manage the team of Gender Parity Report at human Rights Department and coordinate all HR related activities with relevant hiring units/organizations
  • Ensure regular, structured communications with the Gender Parity report Lead Author and Statistics and Data Analyst Expert.
  • Support coordination with the relevant departments for ensuring the timely availability of the data for facilitating data documentation, data analysis activities led by the Gender Parity Report Statistician and Data Analyst.
  • Technically lead the preparations for technically committee meetings and other update meetings.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the main liaison with provincial government departments, academia, civil society, and development partners.
  • Organize and facilitate consultative meetings, validation workshops, and dissemination events.
  • Ensure government ownership and partner alignment throughout the report development process.

Project Management & Reporting:

  • Monitor project progress and ensure quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Prepare progress reports, meeting notes, and updates for management and donors.
  • Support the integration of feedback from stakeholders into the final report.

Knowledge Management & Communication:

  • Develop Policy brief, talking points, press release as and when required. Coordinate the development of knowledge products, and communication materials related to the report.
  • Draft sections of the report in consultation and collaboration with Lead Authors; and editing draft sections of the report in consultation and collaboration with Lead Authors.
  • Editing draft sections of the report in consultation and collaboration with Lead Authors.
  • Support visibility and advocacy efforts linked to the Gender Parity Report’s findings.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Public Policy, or Development Studies.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in project coordination and stakeholder engagement, preferably in gender or development projects.
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with provincial government institutions, civil society, and development partners in Sindh.
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills in English; knowledge of Urdu/Sindhi is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multi-stakeholder processes effectively.
  • Carry out any other task assigned by the supervisor
