Job summary

Avanceon is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to manage projects end-to-end, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to technical specs and client requirements. The role involves coordinating with clients, sub-vendors and internal teams, with exposure to multi-disciplinary packages and international standards.

The candidate should excel in project management, stakeholder coordination, and developing engineering deliverables per project specs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present progress reports to the client within agreed timeframes.

Job description

Avanceon is looking for highly skilled and experienced Project EngineerS who can manage projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to technical specifications and client requirements.

Responsibilities

Work experience in handling individual projects starting from post order to delivery.

Co-ordination with cross functional departments in ensuring the project is delivered on time.

Co-ordination with clients, sub-vendors and other project stakeholders.

Working experience in chemical dosing packages, water treatment packages, Oil & Gas skid packages would be preferred.

Exposure to Saudi Aramco/ADNOC/PDO/Shell/QE Energy company specifications would be considered as added advantage.

Exposure to international standards for pumps, tanks, piping, valves, etc., is essential.

Basic exposure on reading skid GA drawings and fabrication drawings.

Familiar with all kinds of equipment, piping, electrical and instrumentation symbols as per IEC and ISA.

Complete project management starting from post-bid to delivery.

Must be capable of developing the Engineering deliverables as per project specification and client requirement.

Identify the scope of work, list of engineering documents deliverables and communicate to other supporting departments.

Single point of contact between Avanceon and client.

Arrange client KOM and coordinate with internal team.

Submission of progress report to client on agreed time frame.

Conduct regular project progress meeting with internal stake holders.

Attend client progress review meetings and liaise the expectation to internal team.

Review of sub-vendor offers and provide delivery recommendation to procurement department.

Raising the purchase order request (IR) in portal.

Monitor the execution of the work, identifying any risks or opportunities in a timely manner.

Coordinate for PIM with client, internal QC and vendor to ensure timely startup of fabrication activities.

Coordinate with sub-contractor for timely completion of fabrication and integration activities.

Coordinate with client / internal testing engineer to make sure FAT completed successfully.

Coordinate internal team / vendor towards closure of punch points and get the IRN for on time delivery.

Ensure that the work is carried out in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable contracts, Company policies and relevant laws and regulations.

Identify areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned projects and recommend corrective action wherever required.

To perform all tasks required in the initiation, execution and closure of the project.

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering (BE / B.TECH) in Mechanical / Chemical from a reputed university with good academic record.

Familiarity in Project management software like MS project, MS-Office and ERP
