Job summary

GST International in Gujranwala, Pakistan, seeks a Project Coordinator for steel structure and construction projects. The role is full-time, on-site, coordinating between engineering, procurement, production, and site teams to ensure timely execution and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in project coordination, strong English communication, and familiarity with steel/PEB projects. On-site coordination with Saudi Arabia/UAE teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, steel structures, PEB, fabrication, engineering, or contracting.
• Experience with steel structure/PEB projects will be strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project coordination, documentation and follow-up.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and other standard office tools.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering/construction drawings and project documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good English communication skills, particularly for professional emails and project correspondence.
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be comfortable coordinating with teams working in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, Site and Management teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Follow up on project requirements, deliverables, drawings, materials, fabrication and site activities.
• Maintain regular communication with Saudi/Dubai project teams and coordinate information between the office and project sites.
• Track project progress, pending activities, material requirements and critical deadlines.
• Coordinate structural drawings, revisions, approvals, RFIs, submittals and other project documentation with relevant departments.
• Follow up with production and fabrication teams regarding project schedules, priorities and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement regarding material requirements, purchase orders and delivery status.
• Assist in coordinating transportation, dispatch and delivery of fabricated steel/materials to project sites.
• Maintain project trackers, schedules, follow-up sheets and status reports.
• Identify delays, pending actions and coordination issues and escape them.
• Follow up with responsible persons until assigned tasks are completed.
• Prepare regular project updates for Management.
• Coordinate meetings and maintain minutes/action points where required.
• Ensure proper communication and document flow between departments and project teams.
• Perform other project coordination and administrative duties assigned by Management.
