Job summary

GSK is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for Ampoules and Eye drops with 1–3 years of packaging experience. You will ensure safe operations, accurate record-keeping, and continuous improvement on the production line.

The role requires on-site shifts, GMP awareness, and basic reading of procedures in Urdu or English. The candidate will maintain equipment logs and participate in data integrity initiatives while supporting end-to-end SAP transactions for packaging.

Qualifications

• Diploma (DAE) in Mechanical or Electrical.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical instructions.
• Familiarity with GMP and workplace health and safety rules.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment.
• Willingness to work on-site shifts.
• Clear communication in Urdu or English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety of the area with Zero Waste Promotions and ZAP & ZIP reporting.
• Maintain daily records for Ampoules and Eye drops Manufacturing & Filling.
• Improve machine efficiency and maintain OEE data.
• Meet production KPI targets; adhere to daily plan and conformance.
• Ensure GMP and EHS compliance during operation.
• Minimize changeovers and wastage; optimize cost efficiency.
• Identify and implement OE projects after management approval.
• Maintain machine logs, maintenance records, cleaning and changeover records.
• Ensure data integrity compliance and DI control in production.

Job description

Job Purpose

The purpose of this job is to work in the Manufacturing & filling operations of Ampoules and Eye drops department ensuring the required output and complying with applicable GMP, EHS and Regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety of the area with Zero Waste Promotions and ZAP & ZIP reporting.
• Keep up-to-date production, downtime, changeover, preventive maintenance and other records on daily basis for Ampoules and Eye drops Manufacturing & Filling.
• Suggest and implement measures to improve the machine efficiency OEE & maintain data of toolkit.
• Ensure all production floors KPI are being maintained and met. e.g. Adherence to Daily OEE target and Adherence to conformance of daily plan.
• Ensure the GMP (proper labeling, IPC, Line clearance etc.) and EHS (Zero access, LOTO etc.) compliance during operation.
• Ensure cost efficient way, right first-time operation, minimizing changeovers and avoiding wastages.
• Identify, suggest and implement Operational Excellence (OE) projects after approval of the management.
• Maintain complete record of the respective machine e.g. daily working Logbooks, Maintenance Record, Cleaning and Changeover Record etc.
• Ensure Data integrity compliance and improve the DI control (ALCOA+ principle) at Ampoules and Eye drops Manufacturing & Filling
• Ensure all Ampoules and Eye drop Packaging operation related End to End production SAP transactions are completed timely.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Minimum Diploma (DAE) in Mechanical or Electrical
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical instructions.
• Familiarity with good manufacturing practice and workplace health and safety rules.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work on-site shifts.
• Basic spoken and written Urdu or English for clear communication and reporting
