Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a hands-on operator for Ampoules and Eye Drops manufacturing, dispensing, filling and sterilization. The role requires following SOPs, maintaining records and adhering to GMP and EHS standards on-site.

You will contribute to data integrity under ALCOA+ principles and support continuous DI improvements while working in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Matriculation, High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical instructions.
  • Familiarity with good manufacturing practice and workplace health and safety rules.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work on-site shifts.
  • Basic spoken and written Urdu or English for clear communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Ampoules and Eye Drops manufacturing, dispensing, filling and sterilization operations are completed in a timely manner in adherence with SOPs.
  • Ensure safety of the area through Zero Waste promotions and proactive ZAP & ZIP reporting.
  • Keep up-to-date production, downtime, preventive maintenance and other records on daily basis for Ampoules and Eye drops.
  • Ensure GMP compliance (e.g. proper labeling, line clearance) and EHS compliance during all operations.
  • Ensure Documentation BMR and Logbooks in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Identify and report any deviations observed during manufacturing, dispensing, filling and sterilization processes from approved SOPs in Ampoules and Eye Drops.
  • Ensure data integrity compliance and continuously improve DI controls in line with ALCOA+ principles within Ampoules and Eye Drops manufacturing operations.
