Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking a Diploma holder in Mechanical or Electrical to join the Ampoules and Eye drops Manufacturing & Filling operations. You will help ensure safety, GMP and EHS compliance, and maintain daily production records.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, strong data integrity skills, and the ability to work on-site shifts, with hands-on tool use and SAP transactions for end-to-end production.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (DAE) in Mechanical or Electrical.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and technical instructions.
• Familiarity with good manufacturing practice and workplace health and safety rules.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment.
• Clear communication in Urdu or English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety of the area with Zero Waste Promotions and ZAP & ZIP reporting.
• Keep up-to-date production, downtime, changeover, preventive maintenance and other records on daily basis for Ampoules and Eye drops Manufacturing & Filling.
• Suggest and implement measures to improve machine efficiency (OEE) and maintain toolkit data.
• Ensure GMP and EHS compliance during operation.
• Maintain complete records (logbooks, maintenance, cleaning, changeover).
• Ensure data integrity compliance and improve DI control for Ampoules and Eye drops Manufacturing & Filling.
• Complete End-to-End production SAP transactions for packaging operations.
