Job description

A production manager shall be responsible for establishment of complete stitching production unit for production of Army Bags (400 machines.)Should have the capability to execute the project.- By managing process ' Cutting of Fabrics '- By managing process ' marking of Fabrics (Very critical Area) '- By managing stitching flow on chain system.- By managing training program of skilled workers through capacity evolution.- By managing all the processes to the extent of optimized output.To know the exact capacity of machines & operations in each stitching hall.2.To prepare monthly stitching production plans according to the monthly order status.3.To prepare daily stitching production plan to optimize the available resources (men, machines, material).4.To constantly monitor & get update of fabrics, accessories & other specifications of running orders.6.To ensure 100% feeding of orders on the committed & stipulated dates.7.To ensure that all the necessary resources (men, material, machines, and methods) are available for production & to set priority of orders stitching as per PPC requirement.8.To minimize wastage of resources like alteration rate, stitching mistakes /errors, leather, thereby reducing the production cost.9.To take pro-active steps to fill the shortages of manpower on daily basis, so that maximum machine capacity can be utilized.10. To ensure that all quality standards are met.
