Overview

We are hiring a Product Owner on a 6 months contract role to lead and facilitate end-to-end data transformation in collaboration with technology teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with relevant business Financial Directors and business stakeholders to understand the business logic and translate this into requirements for the technical team to build a solution.
• Translate requirements from business logic into technical requirements for Technology teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Solution Architects to ensure the original scope is documented and delivered in a timely manner.
• Liaise with the Scrum team to ensure delivery is efficient and aligned with business expectations.
• Share knowledge with the wider business, work with other BAs and technology teams to document processes and ways of working, and encourage continuous improvements.
• Take the lead on communication to the business regarding status of items and blockers.
• Maintain end-to-end knowledge of the data landscape and shape future technological decisions.
• Lead and own the rollout of high-scale data implementations and projects.
• Manage business stakeholder relations and expectations.
• Ensure quality and consistency of data across the data landscape.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and accelerate onboarding for new joiners.

Requirements

• Strong track record of product ownership within a technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing architecture; Azure experience is desirable.
• Experience working on high-priority data projects.
• Extensive ability to break down problems, document clearly for stakeholders to understand, and prioritize. Stakeholder management.
• Able to collaborate with a wide range of technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders including development teams and BAs.
• Experience working in an agile environment and in a fast-paced organization.
• Strong experience in transformation management and continuous improvement.
• Having worked in SAFe teams previously is an advantage.
• Good awareness of Product Management and Product Owner responsibilities.
• Strong communication with the ability to tailor the story based on context.
• Ability to break down user stories and create design documents for development.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, hands-on professional who can work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects.
