Job description

Mace Engineering Technologies PVT LTD is currently seeking the services of a highly motivated and energetic person as a Procurement Officer. This role will require the analytical mind and to keep up with product and service trends.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

Following are the key responsibilities that the hired candidate will be expected to perform:

  • Manage inventory and maintain required stock levels.
  • Maintain and update supplier information such as product range, open purchase orders and delivery times etc.
  • Generate reports using MRP & MS Excel.
  • Generate purchase orders using the MRP.
  • Follow up with suppliers for orders and payments.
  • Keep costs up to date in the MRP.
  • Response to stock related inquiries from other departments.
  • Record, tally, maintain and process invoices.
  • Manage company’s accounts payable and receivable.
  • Pay bills and invoices.
  • Track, maintain and record expenses.
  • Sort and track overdue payments.
  • Maintain office culture.
  • Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate contracts.
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
  • Prepare budgets, analyze costs, and develop reports.
  • Handle additional responsibilities within and outside the department.
Job Specification

Qualification, Experience and Skills required

Following are the required qualification, experience and skills required to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 16 years of education.
  • Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
