Takmeel Square (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee procurement for ongoing commercial construction and real estate development projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of BOQs, RFQs, supplier evaluation, and negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery. The role requires minimum 5 years of direct procurement experience in construction or real estate, a related bachelor’s degree, and expertise in budgeting, cost control, and procurement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years direct procurement experience in construction or real estate development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Proven experience sourcing cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, MEP, finishing materials, and other construction supplies.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and technical material specifications.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, market price analysis, and procurement cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete construction procurement cycle: supplier identification, sourcing, price negotiation, PO management, and delivery coordination.
• Ensure competitive procurement costs without compromising material specs, quality, or timelines.
• Collaborate with project engineers, construction managers, finance, and inventory teams to maintain transparency and supplier accountability.
• Performance will be measured by cost efficiency, procurement accuracy, supplier reliability, and improvements in purchasing operations.

The ideal candidate must possess strong construction industry knowledge, proven supplier negotiation capabilities, and demonstrated experience managing substantial procurement budgets while ensuring cost efficiency, material quality, and timely delivery.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of direct procurement experience in construction or real estate development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience sourcing cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, MEP, finishing materials, and other construction supplies.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and technical material specifications.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, market price analysis, and procurement cost optimization.
• Ability to independently manage procurement budgets, vendor relationships, and purchasing documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and procurement management systems.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will lead the complete construction procurement cycle, including supplier identification, competitive sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order management, and delivery coordination.

The role requires ensuring competitive procurement costs without compromising material specifications, quality standards, or project timelines.

The Procurement Manager will work closely with project engineers, construction managers, finance, and inventory teams to maintain procurement transparency, supplier accountability, and uninterrupted project operations.

Performance will be evaluated through cost efficiency, procurement accuracy, supplier reliability, and measurable improvements in purchasing operations.
