INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Procurement & Inventory Officer to join our Supply Chain team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, and Manufacturing industries. What You’ll Lead and Deliver


  • Obtain quotations and process purchase orders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels based on demand forecasts.
  • Regularly update inventory management systems.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor Items movement and update record accordingly
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for proper storage, tagging, and documentation.
  • Generate reports on inventory status and forecasted needs.
  • Liaise with internal departments to understand requirements.
  • Provide weekly/monthly procurement and inventory reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost-saving initiatives related to procurement and warehousing.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in procurement and inventory control roles.
  • Training /Certification in procurement is an advantage.
  • IT product knowledge is an advantage
  • Understanding for Inventory control.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems and Inventory management tools
  • Good understanding of inventory and supply chain management principles.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
