Job summary

Sukuk Technologies in Lahore, Pakistan seeks a DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, configuration management with Ansible, and scripting in Shell and Python to automate tasks.

You will configure monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, manage Ubuntu/Linux servers, and work with Git/Bitbucket, GCP, and OCI; knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

CS degree from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of professional DevOps or infrastructure experience.
Proficient with Git/Bitbucket for version control.
Hands-on experience with GCP or OCI cloud platforms.
Strong skills with Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform.
Proficient in Shell and Python scripting.
Experience administering Ubuntu/Linux servers.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
Solid networking knowledge (subnets, routing, firewalls, DNS).

Responsibilities

About the Job

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer professional with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. Below are the job responsibilities and skills required for the captioned position.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Write and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Handle configuration management and deployment automation via Ansible.
Develop Shell and Python scripts to automate operational tasks.
Configure dashboards, metrics, and alerts using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager. Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and environment performance issues.
Manage, patch, and maintain Ubuntu and Linux server environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must be a CS Graduate from a recognized university.
Experience: Min. 2 years of professional DevOps or infrastructure experience.
Version Control: Git and Bitbucket repository management.
Cloud Platforms: Practical experience with GCP and OCI.
Core Tools: Hands-on skills with Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
Scripting: Strong foundational knowledge of Shell and Python scripting.
Operating Systems: Confident administration of Ubuntu/Linux environments.
Monitoring: Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
Networking: Good functional networking know-how (subnets, routing, firewalls, DNS).
