Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Karachi. As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring they meet safety and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work.
• Develop plans for preserving and restoring historical buildings including structural repairs, material replacements, and additions.
• Ensure all preservation work meets safety and building codes.
• Collaborate with contractors to oversee the execution of preservation plans.
• Use specialized techniques and materials for preservation work such as chemical treatments or traditional building methods.
• Research historical documentation, materials, and techniques to ensure accuracy in preservation work.
• Document all preservation work for historical records.
• Maintain knowledge of current preservation practices and attend trainings or conferences as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture.

Compensation and Working Conditions
