Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings and plans.

Preservation Architect

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Karachi Pakistan As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough inspections of historic buildings and structures to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or restoration work
• Developing preservation plans and strategies for each project taking into consideration the historical significance of the building
• Collaborating with engineers contractors and other professionals to ensure that preservation work is carried out accurately and in accordance with historical preservation standards
• Researching materials and techniques used during the original construction of the building to guide restoration work
• Monitoring progress of restoration projects to ensure that work is completed within budget and on schedule
• Maintaining detailed records of all projects including photographs drawings and documentation of restoration techniques used

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
• In-depth knowledge of historical preservation principles techniques and materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections of buildings and structures
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in AutoCAD software for creating detailed drawings and plans

Salary

• This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month
