AdventHealth South Overland Park is seeking a Medical Technologist for Point of Care Testing Part Time to coordinate POCT across the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high patient care quality.

The role covers 20 hours per week (2-3 days), with on-call hours as needed, and includes educating POCT staff, managing inventory, and supporting performance-improvement activities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or equivalent.
• MLS (ASCP) OR MLS (AMT) certification is required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; knowledge of POCT regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Documents and submits required laboratory statistics and reports.
• Provides ongoing education and support to POCT clinicians.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care.
• Maintains accreditation readiness and regulatory documentation.
• Manages inventory control and supply stocking for POCT needs.
• Trains and assesses competency of testing personnel.
• Develops and implements POCT policies to ensure compliance.
