The candidate will uphold SOPs, maintain equipment sterilization, and supervise staff while managing inventory and procurement as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Lab Technology (MLT) or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of working experience in Blood Bank.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with primary physicians for investigations and perform complex tests when required.
• Ensure timely preparation and availability of reports for the reporting pathologist.
• Communicate completed reports promptly to the concerned pathologist/in-charge.
• Provide urgent reports to patients and physicians as per policy.
• Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, including infection control and waste management.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of all equipment.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all staff during procedures.
• Train and supervise subordinate staff to ensure adherence to protocols.
• Monitor staff punctuality, performance, and maintain overall section upkeep and equipment functionality.
• Manage inventory of supplies and assist in procurement, while supporting management and performing assigned duties.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Technology

Master's degree preferred
