Job summary

Plutus21 Partners seeks a Platform Engineering Lead to architect and build the foundational technology platform powering our AI-driven businesses. You’ll lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, directly collaborating with executives and operators to translate complex processes into scalable software and AI-enabled solutions.

You will stay hands-on in architecture, coding, and production delivery while shaping platform standards, security, and deployment practices across global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in software engineering with ownership of production software architecture.
• Experience leading architecture and development of complex software platforms.
• Experience designing ontologies, knowledge graphs, or enterprise data models.
• Strong full-stack background with frontend and backend expertise.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, React, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong data modeling, relational databases, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience shipping software from prototype to production deployments.
• Experience building enterprise-grade software with security, reliability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of the core technology platform.
• Build a unified data layer connecting databases, APIs, documents, and real‑time data sources.
• Develop ontology and semantic layer modeling business objects and permissions.
• Create reusable frameworks for rapid development of apps and internal tools.
• Develop workflow and automation infrastructure for complex processes.
• Design APIs and integration frameworks for enterprise apps and third‑party systems.
• Establish scalable cloud architecture, deployment standards, and observability.
