Job summary

Gumcorp Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled industrial maintenance professional to oversee plant-wide automation and maintenance operations in Pakistan.

The role focuses on troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and instrumentation, while planning preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, a background in electrical/electronics/mechatronics, and familiarity with HMI systems and industrial networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.
CMRP and CPMM certifications are a plus.
Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and control systems.
Familiarity with VFDs, AC motors, starters, contactors, relays, sensors and control panels.
Knowledge of PLC programming/monitoring is advantageous.
Experience with HMI and automation networks preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, PID/temperature controllers, instrumentation, MCCs, and electrical panels.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and availability.
Diagnose PLC faults, control loop issues, instrumentation errors, and electrical breakdowns.
Program and commission VFDs, servo drives, PID controllers, field instruments, energy meters, and power quality analyzers.
Lead installation, wiring, programming, and commissioning of new machines and process upgrades.
Utilize SAP PM for maintenance planning and routine operations.
Ensure compliance with LOTO and PTW safety requirements.
