Job summary

Work Together is seeking a Planning & Project Controls Engineer for Blue Arc – Phase 8, located in Bahrain. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and project controls across 30+ villa sites, ensuring progress alignment with schedules and budgets.

You will coordinate with site teams, review BOQs and drawings, monitor procurement, and generate regular progress reports. GCC/Bahrain experience is preferred, with strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Strong planning and project controls experience on villa or residential construction projects.
• Experience handling multiple construction sites simultaneously.
• Solid knowledge of BOQ, quantities, drawings, procurement, and progress measurement.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules for 30+ villa construction sites.
• Track planned vs. actual progress and identify delays and critical activities.
• Review BOQs, quantities, and scope of work with site teams.
• Collect and verify actual site progress against approved schedules.
• Coordinate drawings, revisions, and construction requirements with engineering/site teams.
• Monitor material procurement, deliveries, and schedule impacts.
• Identify causes of delays and prepare recovery plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and look-ahead schedules.
• Highlight schedule risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and update project schedules for 30+ villa construction sites.
• Project Controls: Track planned vs. actual progress and identify delays, slippages, and critical activities.
• BOQ & Quantities: Review BOQs, quantities, and scope of work and coordinate with site teams.
• Progress Monitoring: Collect and verify actual site progress against approved schedules.
• Drawings & Documentation: Coordinate with engineering/site teams regarding drawings, revisions, and construction requirements.
• Procurement Tracking: Monitor material procurement, deliveries, and their impact on project schedules.
• Delay Analysis: Identify causes of delays and prepare delay reports/recovery plans.
• Coordination: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, consultants, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and project control reports.
• Risk & Recovery: Highlight potential schedule risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Main Requirements
