Job summary

Brickstech in Bahrain is seeking a Planning & Project Controls Engineer to oversee schedules for 30+ villa construction sites across the Blue Arc – Phase 8 project.

You will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers, manage BOQs and drawings, monitor progress, and prepare dashboards, S-curves, and delay recovery plans to keep timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree: Civil Engineering / Construction Management / related field.
• Strong experience in planning/project controls for villa or residential construction projects.
• Experience handling multiple construction sites simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantities, construction drawings, procurement, and progress measurement.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project and Excel.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, tracking, reporting, and delay analysis.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• GCC/Bahrain construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules for 30+ villa construction sites.
• Track planned vs actual progress and identify delays, slippages, and critical activities.
• Review BOQs, quantities, and scope of work and coordinate with site teams.
• Collect and verify actual site progress against approved schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering/site teams regarding drawings, revisions, and construction requirements.
• Monitor material procurement, deliveries, and their impact on project schedules.
• Identify causes of delays and prepare delay reports/recovery plans.
• Work closely with project managers, site engineers, consultants, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and project control reports.
• Highlight potential schedule risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
