Job summary

Lahore University of Management Sciences invites Graduate Research Students to join the Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory (FNL). The position supports original research in nanomaterials, renewable energy, energy storage, sensing, and related fields while fulfilling the PhD program requirements.

The incumbent will design, perform, analyse experiments, publish findings, and collaborate with faculty and project partners under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: PhD/MS students enrolled at LUMS may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research aligned with FNL objectives.
• Design, perform, and analyse experiments under supervision.
• Contribute to research projects in nanomaterials, energy storage and sensing.
• Maintain accurate lab records and ensure safety and ethics compliance.
• Prepare publications, reports, conference presentations, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with faculty, researchers, students, and partners.
• Mentor junior students and support lab activities as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/PI.
