A leading educational institute in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is seeking a PhD student for a project on nanotechnology and energy storage. The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 50,000 and must sign a bond for the project duration. Candidates with a background in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or Chemistry are preferred, and strong academic records are essential. PhD Student for Pakistan Science Foundation Project

One PhD student is required for the PSF-NSFC/202307/19 project entitled “Nanotechnology–Polymer Fusion for Revolutionizing Energy Storage and Socioeconomic Growth.” The selected candidate will be required to sign a bond for the entire duration of the project. A fixed monthly stipend of PKR 50,000/- will be offered to a PhD scholar.

• Last Date of Application Submission: 22 January 2026
• GIK Test/s and Interviews Date: Saturday 24 January 2026

Preference will be given to candidates having degrees in Metallurgy/Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, Chemistry etc. with a strong academic record. Prior research publications would be an advantage but not necessarily required.
