Qualifications

• Matric/Intermediate with Diploma in Pharmacy Technician.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
• Valid registration with the relevant Pharmacy Council preferred/required as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Dispenses medicines and pharmacy items accurately against prescriptions and medication orders as per established procedures.
• Assists in receiving, storing, arranging, and maintaining medicines and pharmacy supplies under appropriate conditions.
• Verifies medication details, quantities, expiry dates, and labels to support safe and accurate dispensing.
• Maintains pharmacy records, stock registers, and documentation accurately and ensures timely updating of inventory.
• Coordinates with pharmacists, doctors, nursing staff, and relevant departments regarding medication and supply requirements.
• Monitors stock levels and expiry dates and reports shortages, discrepancies, or damaged/expired items to the concerned supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, confidentiality, and safety standards within the pharmacy.
• Performs other pharmacy-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

WORK EXPERIENCE

1-2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
