Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline plc is seeking a General Worker to support routine production and operations in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. You will assist with material handling, basic cleaning and equipment tasks while ensuring adherence to safety, quality and GMP guidelines.

The role requires following standard operating procedures, documenting activities accurately and collaborating with the manufacturing team to maintain an efficient production area. On-site work with potential shift patterns.

Qualifications

• DAE in engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience with Pharma solid packaging machines and line management.
• Ability to follow SOPs and instructions.
• Physically fit for manual tasks and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual and operational tasks as directed by the supervisor/line lead.
• Support production activities, including material handling, basic cleaning, and equipment-related tasks within approved procedures.
• Follow safety, quality and GMP guidelines and report issues immediately.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient work area.
