Zusammenfassung

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is recruiting on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA). The selected candidate will join the foundational team to develop systems, processes, and institutional capabilities in regulatory oversight of agri-trade and food safety.

The role focuses on inspecting pesticide-related entities, collecting samples, and ensuring compliance with registration and safety standards. Strong integrity and field experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of field inspection or regulatory experience.
• Knowledge of pesticide registration, labelling, storage, and safety.
• High integrity and ability to work in enforcement environments.

Aufgaben

• Inspect pesticide manufacturing units, warehouses, retail outlets, and registered pesticide businesses for compliance with registration and safety requirements
• Collect pesticide samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring chain of custody and proper documentation
• Verify compliance with registration conditions, labelling, storage, handling, and safety requirements
• Detect and report non-compliance, adulteration, misbranding, or illegal pesticide activities as per notified procedures
• Prepare inspection and enforcement support reports and coordinate follow-up actions with laboratories and regulatory units
• Support audits, verification missions, and compliance drives as directed
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer in support of NAFSA's mandate
