Job summary

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is recruiting on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA). The role focuses on inspecting pesticide units and ensuring compliance with registration, labelling and safety standards, collecting samples, and reporting findings to regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will work within NAFSA's foundational team, contributing to regulatory oversight and modernization of food safety and trade processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant field inspection or regulatory experience.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures, documentation, and basic pesticide compliance requirements.
• High integrity and ability to work in enforcement environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pesticide manufacturing units, warehouses, retail outlets, and registered pesticide businesses for compliance with registration and safety requirements.
• Collect pesticide samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring chain of custody and proper documentation.
• Verify compliance with registration conditions, labelling, storage, handling, and safety requirements.
• Detect and report non-compliance, adulteration, misbranding, or illegal pesticide activities as per notified procedures.
• Prepare inspection and enforcement support reports and coordinate follow-up actions with laboratories and regulatory units.
• Support audits, verification missions, and compliance drives as directed.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer in support of NAFSA's mandate.
