Job summary

Pakistan Single Window (PSW), recruiting on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA), seeks an Inspector to enforce pesticide registration, labelling, storage, and handling standards. You will inspect units, warehouses, and retail outlets, collect samples, and prepare reports to support enforcement actions.

The role requires a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture and at least 2 years' field inspection or regulatory experience.

Qualifications

• BSc(Hons) in Agriculture or related discipline required.
• Minimum 2 years of field inspection or regulatory experience.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pesticide manufacturing units, warehouses, retail outlets, and registered pesticide businesses for compliance with registration and safety requirements.
• Collect pesticide samples for laboratory analysis with chain of custody and proper documentation.
• Verify compliance with registration conditions, labelling, storage, handling, and safety requirements.
• Detect and report non-compliance, adulteration, misbranding, or illegal pesticide activities per procedures.
• Prepare inspection and enforcement support reports and coordinate follow-up actions with laboratories and regulatory units.
• Support audits, verification missions, and compliance drives as directed.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer in support of NAFSA's mandate.
