Job description

About the Job:

Translation Empire PK is looking for a Payroll Officer who will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payrolls, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collecting daily, weekly and monthly timesheets
  2. Preparing employees' compensation using payroll software and also incorporating allowances/bonuses
  3. Reporting on payroll expenses, compensation, benefits, insurance deductions and taxes
  4. Entering the data of new employees into company's databases (e.g., tax identification numbers and bank accounts)
  5. Handing out pay checks to employees or scheduling bank payments
  6. Plan, organize, control payroll management system
  7. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  8. Maintaining the attendance record
  9. Prepare accurate monthly payroll inputs including joiners, leavers, movers along with change in allowance, once off payment and deductions
  10. Maintain accurate employee lifecycle records in hard / soft form as per company policy
  11. Prepare timely clearances and final settlements of leavers, escalating any delays
  12. Accurately process employee payrolls, including calculating hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  13. Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management and ensure proper documentation for audits

Requirements & Skills:

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and team player
  2. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work and work under pressure
  3. Has sound experience of similar related work with reputed organizations dealing with multiple domains
  4. 3-4 years of experience working as a payroll/finance officer
  5. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Shift Time: 10am-7pm

Location: DHA 1, Sector F, Rawalpindi
