British American Tobacco GBS Pakistan has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and Benefits Executive in Lahore.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll and Benefits Executive to support our HR function. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate payroll processing, timely employee settlements, effective administration of employee benefits, and compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage monthly payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, bonuses, deductions, reimbursements, statutory contributions, and final settlements, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
  • Payroll Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Prepare payroll reconciliation reports and support audits to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, reimbursements, and income tax administration in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee information in payroll systems, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy for changes in salary, employment status, and loan/advance tracking.
  • HR Operations Support: Collaborate on HR activities including onboarding, offboarding, and managing employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and policies. Coordinate with departments for smooth transitions.
  • Reward & Recognition Programs: Manage the company’s rewards and recognition portal, ensuring timely and accurate monthly disbursements.
Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
  • 3–5 years of experience in payroll; candidates with at least 2 years of strong relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Sound knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and a solid understanding of local payroll regulations and compliance in Pakistan.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling data and records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and support employee queries.
