We are in search of a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of all baked goods and desserts, as well as managing the pastry team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute pastry menus in line with the restaurant's vision and style
• Prepare and present a variety of cakes, tarts, pastries, and other desserts using different techniques and ingredients
• Train, mentor, and supervise junior pastry chefs to maintain high-quality standards
• Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
• Ensure all food safety regulations are followed during preparation and service
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert offerings that complement the main menu

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in an upscale restaurant or hotel
• Extensive knowledge of various pastry-making techniques, including cake decorating, chocolate tempering, and sugar work
• Creativity and attention to detail to create visually stunning desserts
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet service deadlines while maintaining quality standards
