Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure customer success through hands-on technical support and services in Faisalabad, Pakistan. You will manage pre- and post-sales activities, installations, maintenance, and timely issue resolution at customer sites.

The role requires a biomedical or electronics engineering background, lab instrument experience, and willingness to travel. Fluency in English and Urdu is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical or electronics engineering from a recognized university in Pakistan.
• Hands-on experience with instruments used in research, clinical, or hospital labs.
• Strong planning, organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pre- and post-sales activities with technical expertise in core lab areas.
• Lead on-site installations and handle urgent repair projects for swift resolutions.
• Advise customers and colleagues on best use and maintenance of instruments.
• Install instruments at customer sites and provide training for proper use.
• Provide on-site and remote phone support for troubleshooting and servicing.
• Perform preventive maintenance following defined standards.
• Decontaminate, pack and return instruments/parts per procedures; address technical issues.

The Position

The Position As a Partner Customer Care( Field Service Engineer), you will play a key role in ensuring our customers' success by providing technical support and services. If you're excited by the prospect of working hands-on with ground breaking instruments and equipment while contributing to both pre and post-sales processes, this role is for you. The location is Faisalabad Pakistan.

The Opportunity

• You will support pre- and post-sales processes with your technical expertise and provision of services in the core lab customer area.
• You drive on-site installations and handle urgent repair projects, ensuring swift resolutions.
• You advise customers and colleagues on the best use and maintenance of our instruments/equipment, ensuring they have access to critical technical insights.
• ou implement installation of our instruments/equipment at customer sites, providing vital training for proper use.
• You provide on-site and remote phone support, offering expert guidance on troubleshooting and servicing.
• You perform preventive maintenance in line with defined standards, ensuring equipment is always in top condition.
• You decontaminate, pack, and return instruments/parts according to procedures, handling any technical complaints with efficiency and care.

Who You Are

• You hold a Bachelor Degree in engineering in Bio Medical or Electronics from a recognized university of Pakistan.
• You bring hands-on experience working with instruments used in Research and/or Clinical or Hospital labs.
• You are organized and methodical, with strong planning and prioritization skills.
• You are flexible, willing to travel, and comfortable working unsociable or irregular hours when needed.
• You are fluent in English & Urdu.
