Job summary

QuantumIT Solutions is seeking a skilled Part Time Mason to join our team in Multan, Pakistan. The role involves constructing and repairing structures using bricks, blocks, and stones with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The position requires proficiency with hand tools, ability to read blueprints, physical strength, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Transportation is preferred for this Multan-based role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, hammers and chisels.
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy materials.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Own transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting site surveys and analyzing blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Preparing surfaces by cleaning and leveling them before laying materials.
• Mixing cement, mortar, and other materials according to specified ratios.
• Laying bricks or stones in a specific pattern using appropriate tools.
• Cutting and shaping bricks or stones as needed to fit into desired spaces.
• Ensuring structures are level and plumb by using levels, plumb bobs, or other tools.
• Repairing damaged masonry work on existing structures.
• Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear at all times.

You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
