Job summary

Adamjee Life in Karachi seeks an Assistant Manager Oracle Developer to design, develop, maintain core Insurance, Takaful, and BI systems. You will design systems, program front-end applications, and create custom forms and reports based on user needs.

You will evaluate business requirements for IT development within CoreApp, Takaful, and Jasper environments, ensure daily operation of core systems, and design PL/SQL ETL processes, while adhering to coding standards and documenting modules.

Qualifications

• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Oracle Database and PL/SQL development skills.
• Experience with Linux environments and ETL processes.
• Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports, Apex Reports, and related tools.
• Knowledge of Erwin, SOA IIB is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core Insurance, Takaful, and BI systems.
• Program front‑end applications and create custom forms/reports.
• Evaluate business requirements for IT development.
• Ensure smooth operation of Core systems and design PL/SQL ETL processes.
• Manage Linux-based data imports/exports and document modules.
• Maintain coding standards and provide documentation to departments.
• Guide users and lead cross‑department collaboration.
