Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking Czech interpreters and translators for on-site roles based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, with work across health care, legal, education and immigration services. You will interpret for clients in diverse settings and ensure accurate, confidential communication.

The ideal candidate holds an English language degree, IELT S band 6.5 or higher, and any interpreting qualifications, with a commitment to professional interpretation standards.

Qualifications

• IELTS with 6.5 overall, minimum 6.0 in each subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Deal with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider
