Job summary

vasl-talent is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator based in Islamabad, working onsite at Plaza ONE. The candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates for painting, remodeling, and general construction across residential, commercial, and government projects, ensuring timely bids and alignment with client quality standards.

You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, compute labor and material costs with PlanSwift/Bluebeam/RS Means, coordinate with project managers, and maintain records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of estimation experience in painting, remodeling, or general construction.
• Proficiency with estimation software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, RS Means).
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint coverage, carpentry takeoffs, and material specs.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, drawings, and specs to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs for painting, remodeling, carpentry, and other trades.
• Estimate labor, materials, and equipment costs; collaborate with project managers on bid proposals.
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors for up-to-date pricing and availability.
• Prepare detailed scope of work documents and ensure clarity in estimates.
• Maintain organized records of historical pricing data for job costing.
• Support multiple bid deadlines and adjust estimates for changes or clarifications.

• Estimate labor, materials, and equipment costs using industry-standard tools and methods. Collaborate with project managers to develop bid proposals and ensure pricing aligns with project goals and profitability.
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing and availability.
• Prepare detailed scope of work documents and ensure clarity in estimates.
• Maintain organized records of historical data for pricing and job costing.
• Support multiple bid deadlines and adjust estimates quickly for changes or clarifications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of estimation experience in painting, remodeling, or general construction.
• Proficiency in estimation software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or equivalent).
