The operator will measure components with precision instruments, perform routine offsets, monitor tooling, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain quality, safety, and on-time delivery in a busy on-site production environment.

Qualificações

• Practical experience operating CNC milling machines in a precision manufacturing or machine-shop environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, understand dimensions and tolerances, and follow machining instructions.
• Familiarity with machine setup, workholding, cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and basic program loading.
• Competence using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection instruments.
• Ability to check component quality, identify deviations, and make basic offset adjustments within authorization.
• Understanding of safe machine operation, workshop housekeeping, and preventive care of equipment.
• Careful attention to detail, dependable attendance, teamwork, and clear communication with supervisors.

Responsabilidades

• Set up CNC milling machines, load programs, select tooling, and verify workholding before production runs.
• Operate machines to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Measure and inspect finished components using suitable precision instruments, recording results as required.
• Make routine machine offsets and adjustments to maintain accuracy and resolve production issues.
• Monitor tool condition, replace worn tooling, and report equipment faults or quality concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow workshop safety procedures and production schedules.
