Job summary

Mediod Consulting is seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant with accounting background to lead the finance side of our Odoo projects. You will configure Odoo Accounting modules, ensure accurate COA, taxes, journals and multi-currency handling for diverse clients.

The role requires strong English communication with finance stakeholders, knowledge of localization requirements including DATEV, and the ability to train, support after go-live, and ensure compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Odoo functional experience with the Accounting app.
• Accounting qualification or finance background (ACCA, CA, B.Com/M.Com or similar).
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, VAT/sales tax and financial reporting.
• Clear communication in English with finance stakeholders.

We're hiring an Odoo Functional Consultant with accounting experience to lead the finance side of our Odoo projects.

You'll configure Odoo Accounting — charts of accounts, taxes, journals, payment terms, bank reconciliation, multi-currency and multi-company — and make sure the setup satisfies the client's finance team and external accountants, including German localization and DATEV-related requirements on some projects.
