Job summary

Mediod Consulting is seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant with accounting background to lead the finance side of our Odoo projects. You will configure Odoo Accounting modules, ensure accurate COA, taxes, journals and multi-currency handling for diverse clients.

The role requires strong English communication with finance stakeholders, knowledge of localization requirements including DATEV, and the ability to train, support after go-live, and ensure compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Odoo functional experience with the Accounting app.
• Accounting qualification or finance background (ACCA, CA, B.Com/M.Com or similar).
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, VAT/sales tax and financial reporting.
• Clear communication in English with finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure Odoo Accounting and Invoicing for new implementations
• Set up charts of accounts, fiscal positions, taxes and localization packages
• Configure bank feeds, reconciliation models and payment workflows
• Migrate opening balances and open items; reconcile results
• Build financial reports and support month-end and year-end processes
• Train finance teams and support them after go-live
