Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is initiating a short-term nutrition-focused project funded by UNICEF in Punjab. The Project Manager will be based in Multan and will support the Program Coordinator with day-to-day management, supervise field teams, and ensure timely delivery against work plans and budgets.

The role requires strong project management, budgeting, reporting skills, and willingness to travel to field locations for supervision and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social sciences, Public Health or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of NGO/INGO experience is preferred.
• Experience supervising large field teams and managing day-to-day project implementation is essential.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall support to the Program Coordinator for management of the nutrition project.
• Ensure implementation of activities aligns with work plans and timelines.
• Identify gaps and bottlenecks and propose practical solutions to keep the project on track.
• Supervise field teams including Nutrition Facilitators and Counselors; conduct regular check-ins and team reviews.
• Lead planning, budgeting, progress reviews, and field visits; maintain quality of delivery.
